Car owner feedback for Metisse
I had trouble getting panels to meet at front and had to return it to manufacturer. My vehicle is a cabriolet and unfortunately we have had several wet summers since I got the car so have not had it out as much as I would have liked. The car is lovely to drive and is quitr low considering standered suspension units are fitted. I have a 2 litre EFI pinto engine which unfortunately has no power steering but I would like to increase the engine at some stage in the future which have a steering unit in it. The build is very simple and I believe a new design was in manufacture but I don't know if it was ever built.

Enjoyable build and excellent, usable everyday car, full four seater and with V8 engine more than adequate performance.

Well developed car, right down to the GRP interior panels. Hugely sturdy galvanised chassis and body. Completely unmodified Sierra parts fit no problem. Even accepts 2.9 twin turbo 4WD donor (although bonnet requires modification for 2.9) Headlamp arrangement fiddly to assemble. Interior requires more work than most (obviously if youre aiming for production car levles of refinement, but aided by Sierra dash and Sierra doors (off the old 3-door model). Sharp looking motor when its finished.
Owner Darryl Webb has added that it took 700 hours over 30 months to build at a cost of £9,000.
