I purchased one of these as a finished, but requiring work, car. The build quality of the kit is excellent, equal to almost any I have owned before, and far better than some Lotus and TVR's that I have also experienced! All in a very good car, few things worth noting though: 2+2 seems a bit optimistic to me, will be converting the back with some fitted luggage, a subtle sound install and a fire extinguisher! The handling etc of the car is excellent (ignore comments on classic-kitcar.com, it really is a sports car!) thanks to the engine being mounted so far back its nearly mid mounted but it does make working on the engine a bit of a pig. Will be changing seats again soon but the car definitely doesn't cater for overly tall people with long legs! I am just under 6ft and have the seat almost all the way back with not a lot of room between my head and the roof, new side mounted seats should solve this though... |
