Very satisfying to see a sporty looking car made at such a low cost. It is enjoyable to drive as much as to build. And it runs fast too, even with a small engine. |

So I lied; this kit is not available to me in Canada. I used the Locust/Midge concept to build a machine on a Toyota pickup chassis which we called the Lumbergini... Certainly my most entertaining and satisfying woodwork project! Handles very well, lots of power with stock drivetrain, best part is that I only need handtools to make mods. Far less trouble per pound or Pound than most kits I've seen. I will submit photo soon. |

excellent value home built sports car at a very competitive price. Takes a little longer than a true 'kit' car as it is from plans and not 'out of the box'. Although there are several companies specialising in Locost parts to make the build easier it is great fun just to buy the book and scour the scrap yards for parts to tailor your own seat of your pants sports car. |

It is what you make it, since its not actually a kit - just a book of instructions! |
