Chris Hill 12650 0 6 360 Lot and lots of fun on the road, and 50mpg ! Really quick on the track too. Makes my 20v turbo fiat coupe feel slow. Straight forward build, the body fit can be a little fiddly. Although I belive SSC now Supply rolling shells so no fiddly bits. SVA compleated on second visit.
matthew morris 20000 1 6 900 the chassis is very simple to complete but, being a full body car with doors, hanging the doors, lining up shutlines and swage lines is time consuming. the kit (to be fair bought 3 years ago) is relatively basic and much time is spent making brackets etc and creating ways to locate parts. It could have been done more quickly but the result will always reflect the time, effort and thought spent. The finished product is well worth the time and it is certainly one of the prettiest cars on the road. The cost does reflect a high spec engine and trick gearbox. The car could be completed far more ecnomically.
Simon Bateman 9000 1 6 850 Build went very well, Rolling chassis build up went well appart from a slight niggle due to the fact I was using Sierra uprights on s Live axle car - Which was solved by the manufacturer and is now part of the kit, Bodywork took a lot of hours to get it right the fitting of the doors taking about 8 weeks. SVA was not too much of a problem despite failing 1st time around. Driving the car is Fantastic, the 1800 Zetec on twin webbers pulls like a train & the traction is excellent for a high powered lightweight car
Mark Bideleux 9000 1 8 500 Absolutely fantastic, the car has gone together very well indeed. The amount of hours has been increased by my own modifications to the body and interior. The gell coat finish is excellent, although a painted finish will always be better. The chassis is excellent, everything went together without any problems. The Chassis is fantastic for ride and handling, excellent balance for the road and track. I have not gone for a stripped out road racer, instead the car is fitted with Radio/CD changer, central looking and removable side screens. The interior is fully carpeted to a high standard and feature a carbon fibre dashboard. When fitted with the Rover 2.7l 24valve V6 engine, it should make for a highly capable sportscar.
