Default SVA Question

Guys,

Is the steering height adjustment tested/checked at MOT or SVA?
Reason for question is that the steering column on mine was taken from a 420 gsi and it will not adjust fully "up"...if that makes sense!

Hi John,
The adjustability is not checked as long as it is secured and the adjustment mechanism locks it tight you will be ok, I would advise using standard Rover wheel for sva purposes, they don't like some of the aftermarket ones. sorry for time in replying just got back from hols. Brian.

Brian,

Many thanks for settling that one for me, it was one of those niggling issues...as for the standard wheel i've ditched it! But the aftermarket wheel I have is identical to the one used by Marlin, and I'll get mine SVA'd at the same place...
