My understanding is that the 'usual' position on a Sportster on the side of the scuttle, that was OK for the SVA, is no longer compliant to the new diagrams in the current IVA manual.
Ian Morris had to put his side repeaters on the side of the rear wing towards the front.
If you look closely in his picture you can see it on the rear wing (and the other hole which was where it was when it failed).
