a big scary monster is on a distinguished road

I'd favour a boxster over a TT if at all possible,my wife had a TT 225hp quattro convertible for a while, many years back now, they are so very clinical and little fun to drive, they almost do everything too well, also they scuttle shake like mad and are an absolute pillock to work on, every job requires a special tool to remove and then the replacement part can not be replaced using the same special tool ?? A lot of the panels are aluminium though so could be weighed in.
Also the doors are very long, plus a boxster has a Porsche interior and is a Porsche which must be a plus when trying to tribute a Porsche especially as I think one of these would be fairly expensive to complete to a standard worth having, personally I'd rather have the engine in the back and an interior that screamed Porsche not Audi TT, which is rather distinctive, in fact I'd sooner have one on an mgf than a TT they are fun to drive easy to fix and pennies.
