REPLICATOR SPORTS CARS RT3 Specification / Data sheet

Car Type Modern update to the 1957 Triumph TR3
   
Car layout Front engine rear wheel drive
   
Chassis 25mm box tube space frame construction. Fully triangulated, light, but extremely strong structure. Steel plates are welded in strategic positions such as seat belt anchorage points, engine and gearbox mounting positions, and the differential mounting frame. Crumple zones have been incorporated at the front, via the gearbox tunnel, and at the rear with the spare wheel carrier framework.
   
Bodywork 20 Fibreglass panels made with flame retardant GRP and re-inforced with core-mat in strategic places. Features improved gapping, panel fit over original Triumph TR3. Available in coloured gel coat finish or ready for painting. Some alloy sheet inner panels.
   
Engine Ford Pinto range of engines and Ford Zetec
   
Gearbox Ford Type 9 with shortened propshaft
   
Dimensions The RT3 replicates the TR3 dimensions, the figures quoted below are for a Triumph TR3
